When Evie first came to me and shared that they were prayerful in who was going to photograph their wedding and the Lord kept putting me on their hearts, I was beyond honored. Evie & Landon are both in the industry and getting an inquiry from another creative is always such a high honor – they were no exception. Their heart and vision for their day was simple – they wanted Jesus to be exalted, their friends and family to be witnesses to a move of God in their marriage and for their love to be celebrated. And it was all of that and so much more.

Evie & I had been ‘instagram friends’ if you will – it felt like we had known each other forever but in reality, we met on their wedding day. But because the Lord went so before in our connection, it truly felt like they were already family to me. Their wedding wasn’t some massive production and there wasn’t a timeline we were following down to the second – it was as relaxed and intimate as they dreamt it would be. After they exchanged vows on a cliff off the California coast, we ran around for a bit spending ample time on their portraits (the BEST.) before heading back to their beautiful home for a backyard reception.
