I have a love for seeing people set free by the truth that I’ve only found in Jesus, a passion to touch the nations, friends & family that are my tribe (I have the greatest people in my corner), and a cute husband named Blake that I am way too in love with (I'll post some pictures of him because he is truly the most handsome man I've ever seen!)

Photography took on a whole new level of importance for me in March of 2021 when my mama and my best friend went on to be with Jesus after a long and courageous cancer battle. Watching her love the Lord, regardless of her circumstances here on earth, changed me for the better and made me who I am. Photos are all I have left now and I don't know what I would do without them. I love you mama - I am able to chase these dreams because you are my role model and my guiding angel. For some of the more boring credentials, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Colorado Christian University with the highest university honors in 2019 and I have also received a degree in ministry. But between me and you, I am so happy that school is behind me and that photography is now my full time passion and profession. I mean it when I say I am the luckiest girl in the world.

But, above all, I am a daughter of a God who has completely taken ahold of me. I have an identity in Him that isn’t shaped or shaken by the ways of the world, yet rooted in the truth that I am His & He is mine. I’m a firm believer in chasing your dreams (which is what led me here), and if my story can encourage just one person to do the same, then it’s worth it.

in the meantime, heres a little peek into my WORLD

My name Macy Frances means a lot to me. Maybe that sounds funny, because shouldn't it mean a lot to me? It's my name! But there's so much more to it. This woman right here with the perm is my great grandmother, Frances Miller. Her significance in my life is enormous, and it's crazy because I never even got to meet her here on earth. She was a lover of Jesus, a fighter for her family and a warrior for the generations that would follow in her footsteps. This woman was my mom's best friend, confident & a source of guidance. She held my moms hand through it all, shaped her into the woman she would grow up to be and frequently prayed over my mom's future children. My great grandma Frances prayed that my siblings and I would one day change the world for His glory, that our identities would be rooted in Jesus Christ alone, and that God would use each of us in mighty ways. 

When I was growing up, I never knew why my middle name was Frances. it's such a unique name that it almost confused me – to be honest, I think I even spelled it wrong when I was younger. But as I got older and as my curiosity grew, I began to ask to hear stories about her. This woman, who I never met, who prayed for me so selflessly & boldly quickly became one of my heroes. To think that I share DNA with her is the biggest honor, I know that I am walking the way that I am because of the foundation that she laid long before she even knew my name. One day I will get to see her again, but until then I pray that I carry on her insanely powerful legacy for as long as I may live. This one's for you, great grandma Frances. I love you! And I hope my life brings honor to the legacy you fought so beautifully for. And I love that this photo has lived on even after she's gone, thats the very same gift I dream of giving you.
