My name is Macy & I am so excited that you have found yourself here. I am simply giddy at the thought of working with you & pray that you leave my site encouraged and confident in who you are. I am a girl driven by Jesus, anything dark chocolate, a good sunset & the stories that I get that absolute privilege of capturing and telling through my love of photography. I call Colorado home and feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have mountain views in my backyard. I am the youngest of four & my siblings are my best friends in the whole entire world. I'm a family girl, the definition of a home body – but, traveling makes me come alive! (Are you confused? Ya, me too!) Oh, & I was raised by the most incredible parents ever, they are seriously my rock and the epitome of a marriage reflecting Heaven’s design.

Photography captivated my heart from a young age. If you would've told 7-year-old Macy that one day she would be living her dream & own a photography business, I think she probably would've screamed so loud it would've shattered your ear drums. I have been behind the lens & stealing my moms DSLR since I can remember, but officially launched my business in the fall of 2017. Since then, it has been the most beautiful journey of growth, learning what I am capable of and creating life long relationships that make me a better ‘me’. I mean, I get to third wheel with beautiful people who are madly in love, be there for people's sweetest moments, capture their story through timeless imagery and create lasting friendships with the people that I can’t believe I get to call 'clients'... just trying to figure out how this is my life?! All glory be to the One who goes before me.

I have a love for seeing people set free by the truth that I’ve only found in Jesus, a passion to touch the nations, friends & family that are my tribe (I have the greatest people in my corner), and a cute boyfriend named Blake that I am way too in love with (I'll post some pictures of him because he is truly the most handsome man I've ever seen!) I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Colorado Christian University with the highest university honors in 2019 and I have also received a degree in ministry. Between me and you, I am so happy that school is behind me and that photography is now my full time passion and profession. Luckiest girl in the world!

But, above all, I am a daughter of a God who has completely taken ahold of me. I have an identity in Him that isn’t shaped or shaken by the ways of the world, yet rooted in the truth that I am His & He is mine. I’m a firm believer in chasing your dreams (which is what led me here), and if my story can encourage just one person to do the same, then it’s worth it.

my Bible, the local Church, my family, my boyfriend, my best friends, anything Zara, my camera, my cat Leo, my 2 puppies, vanilla ice cream, Trader Joe's cookie butter, fruit snacks, la croixs, americanos, any type of fruit, vanilla almond milk (cows are overrated), cheese pizza (I won't eat any other kind), pretending like I can sing, anything lace, the color blush, Montana (where I was born!), the smell of rain, sweeping (oddly satisfying...), the rocky mountains, texas hill country

My name Macy Frances means a lot to me. Maybe that sounds funny, because shouldn't it mean a lot to me? It's my name! But there's so much more to it – beauty that I had to discover on my own, depth that I had to get lost in & history that I had to saturate myself in to even begin to touch the fullness. This woman right here with the perm is my great grandmother, Frances Miller. Her significance in my life is enormous, and it's crazy because I never even got to meet her here on earth. She was a lover of Jesus, a fighter for her family and a warrior for the generations that would follow in her footsteps. This woman was my mom's best friend, confident & a source of guidance. She held my moms hand through it all, shaped her into the woman she would grow up to be and frequently prayed over my mom's future children. My great grandma Frances prayed that my siblings and I would one day change the world for His glory, that our identities would be rooted in Jesus Christ alone, and that God would use each of us in mighty ways

When I was growing up, I never knew why my middle name was Frances. it's such a unique name that it almost confused me – to be honest, I think I even spelled it wrong when I was younger. But as I got older and as my curiosity grew, I began to ask to hear stories about her. This woman, who I never met, who prayed for me so selflessly & boldly quickly became one of my heroes. To think that I share DNA with her is the biggest honor, I know that I am walking the way that I am because of the foundation that she laid long before she even knew my name. One day I will get to see her again, but until then I pray that I carry on her insanely powerful legacy for as long as I may live. This one's for you, great grandma Frances. I love you! And I hope my life brings honor to the legacy you fought so beautifully for.
